OUR HISTORY
U Thein Aung is very first heritage property owner to collaborate with Doh Eain on the restoration of an entire building. U Thein Aung was interested in the Doh Eain model for updating heritage buildings after seeing many of the buildings he grew up around demolished to make way for new condos that often only looked good just after construction before quickly deteriorating. He wanted to find a new way and worked with Doh Eain’s architects to turn the two storey building into three high quality flats. He hopes someone in his family will return to the building when the lease period is over–in the meantime they use the extra income as a buffer for unexpected costs (particularly medical bills).”
