About Guria

Guria is renowned for its climatic resorts, with popular destinations such as Bakhmaro and Gomismta in the mountains. Bakhmaro, the more developed of the two, offers a comfortable retreat, while Gomismta exudes a rugged charm. Both resorts are open from winter through spring, providing visitors with pure mountain air, healing mineral springs, scenic hiking trails, and pristine, untouched snow. For those drawn to seaside getaways, Guria's Ureki, Shekvetili, and Grigoleti resorts are particularly alluring due to their unique magnetic sand. This volcanic sand, brought down from Bakhmaro Mountain to the Black Sea shores by the Supsa River, offers an exceptional beach experience. The resorts are equipped with modern conveniences and a variety of attractions, catering to visitors of all ages. Moreover, Guria is home to its natural wonder, the Pichori River, often referred to as "Guria's little Amazon." Flowing through the unspoiled nature of the Colchian Lowlands and eventually joining Lake Paliastomi, this river enhances the region's picturesque landscape. Additionally, Guria is abundant in mineral waters, with Nabeghlavi being the most famous. This mineral water is widely distributed internationally, but visitors to Nabeghlavi Resort have the unique opportunity to drink it directly from the source in unlimited quantities.

However, he had such a great desire to set a precedent and start a Georgian business in the village that in 2015 he returned to Guria and settled in Khidistavi. Along with living in the village, it was necessary to start such a business that would bring prosperity to her and show others that it was possible to do successful business in the countryside.
