The scallop-walled twin house looks somewhat like a ship, And indeed, boats were brought in on the high tide and parked downstairs in its stable and dry dock.
Stately colonial pillars hold up its vast high-ceilinged halls. The generously arched doors welcoming one to step into another world where time stretches pauses to watch the sunset and then moves ever so lightly towards dawn. Most of the 15 rooms have large four-poster beds and bathrooms that happily accommodate, large tubs and windows that have views of the trees or the sea depending on where they are located. The furniture is a mix of different eras and the light pouring in through the windows, skylights and the vastness of the indoor spaces make for an unforgettable experience. This17th-century building gives a unique experience of the old world charm where sailors, travellers, traders, planters feasted and danced under chandeliers, suspended from high wooden ceilings.

In 1986, Mr. Aman Nath acquired Neemrana Fort-Palace and began its restoration opening it to guests in 1991. A few years later in 1992, Late Mr. Francis Wacziarg joined Aman Nath, by investing in Neemrana Fort-Palace when it was already running as a hotel. In 1993, Aman Nath & Late Mr. Francis Wacziarg co-founded Neemrana Hotels Pvt Ltd. an organisation, noted for restoring ruins and turning them into heritage hotelsWhat was first spotted in 1977 as a vast and splendid ruin of the Fort Palace of Neemrana has since become synonymous in India as a foremost example of architectural restoration-for-reuse. We have focused continuously on restoring our past historical wonders into modern day heritage hotels, which can give a true feel about our history, culture, heritage, traditions and values to the discerning traveller.
