The Devpur Darbargadh (small manor) was built in 1905 by Thakore Shri Verisalji Bawasaheb of Roha and is located in central Kutch. The homestay is a 120-year-old heritage property that has been lovingly restored to retain its traditional architecture providing modern amenities for a delightful stay.
Built on a two-acre area it took three years to complete the construction using local sandstone in the classically ornamental Roha (Kutch) style, it consists of porticos, courtyards, stucco pavilions, and pillared halls. The only surviving Sorthambha in Kutch is in the Mardana section of the Devpur Darbargadh. It contains sixteen pillars, cross vaulted gothic arches, Belgian glass, and ceremonial swords
There are five thoughtfully appointed suites at Devpur Homestay. Four suites are in the Zenana and one suite is in the Mardana. The spacious heritage rooms are all different but warm and comfortable, with en suite modern bathrooms, living and dining areas.
